No tittle day

How I spend my Sunday? I went to visit my Uncle (whom is the brave one fighting against Cancer) at Simei his house. Before I went to his house I am meeting a Client whom I haven meet for quite sometime due to lots of things happening to his family. Last year, a number of incident happen to this client of mine whom have a mild stroke in June 2011, and he is really working very hard to recover from the stroke. And after when he got back to work in Nov last year, he had a huge pay cut. I feel quite bad as I am not able to help him much as he had a pre exisiting condition of Diabetes, therefore all this Critical Illness coverage was excluded. As this client of mine is the main bread winner of his family and his pay cut can affect his whole family lifestyle they used to have. And his dad have passed away last year too, and leave quite a big sum of Hospitalisation bill for him to clear. Of course, my client cant blame his father to be like that as the older generation are not educated in the sense of Insurance, that's why they never get themselves insured. So my poor client have to bear the burden of the bills his dad have and his own hospitalisation bills.

After meeting my client and his family, I went to my uncle house. I was very shocked to see my uncle that he have become very boney. As he doesnt hae any appetite to eat anything, this might due to effect of his chemotherapy. He also have to bear lots of expenses on top of his treatment, like the supplement for his body immune and a milk powder exclusively for Cancer Patient to induce Body Weight. And the supplement costs a bottle of $100 plus, and also the milk powder cost $30 plus (which can last for 3 days only). You can imagine how much my uncle need to pay per month? The worst thing is that his children cant able to pay for him, and my uncle have to use his own saving to pay for all this including his chemo every month ($2700) as he doesnt have Insurance anymore after his 1st claim on Nose Cancer.

For those who are healthy now doesnt mean that gd health will wait for you forever. Do get yourself fully cover first before you become a burden to others (especially your loved ones). How you want your loved ones to remember you? Would you want to leave a $1 million legacy behind or a huge debts behind?
