How to do a Claim?

This posting I would like to share on Death Claim.

The claim procedure differs between companies to companies. The proper claimant for this type of claim will be the Spouse, Parents, Children, Sibling.Standard Documents needed will be Death Certificate, Nomination or Wills (if any) and also the deceased birth certificate, Marriage certificate (if the deceased is married), Child Birth certificate (if the deceased have children). Sibling Birth Certificate (if the deceased is not married and parents are no longer around).

However another tricky part will be if the person is pass away oversea, besides the normal document to be submit. The insurer company might also need an identity form to prove that the deceased is already dead. Just in case of the dperson is actually alive and to cheat the claim. And also the rightful claimant will also need to go to ICA to certify the Death Certificate.

For better understanding, you can visit on this website,

It is still better to have a Nomination or Will, so as to speed up the procedure of the claim and to smoothen the whole process.
